What is hyperthyroidism?
The thyroid gland plays a fundamental role in the production of thyroid hormones and is made up of two lobes located at the front of the neck, present in all mammals, both animals and humans. It is a superficial gland, easily palpable if it increases in size. Thyroid hormones function to regulate all aspects of metabolism. Hyperthyroidism is an endocrine disorder caused by an excess of thyroid hormones in the blood.

Our patients live in their kennels in a calm environment, away from strangers and their peers. They have a large space available where owners can bring personal equipment (bed, cushion, and bowl...).
Each kennel has a large raised shelf where cats can rest, feeling safer.
Additionally, each patient is monitored 24 hours a day thanks to three internal cameras in each kennel.
